Recently IBA supplied Madison County with complete photo metrics for converting an existing softball field to LED lighting. The lighting results were better then they expected beyond their goals. The costs in doing so where far below their original estimates. In most cases it can cost more money to repair and replace existing lighting then to install all new LED’s. The saving alone results in 72% energy savings. The instant on/off is a welcomed feature when a power failure occurs during a game. These lights are maintenance free with a factory warranty up to 50,000 hours. The brightness of the field without shadows can make a difference in winning a losing a game.
